Welcome to The Sparkle! Our brick and mortar store will soon open in Sparkill, New York, a little gem of a hamlet just inland of the Hudson River in Rockland County.
Our Mission
We are a family-owned and operated independent bookstore dedicated to being a welcoming, inclusive space. We offer an alternative to buying from chain and online retail behemoths, with a sparkle of community flair. As multiethnic folks, we aim to bring a lot of literature that celebrates diversity; as a family supporting each other through the ups and downs of chronic health conditions, we also feature books on wellness that center chronic illness and disability. Along with all of the latest independent bookstore bestsellers, of course. We hope you’ll come out to gather here and engage in community with us!
